GENERAL SALE INFORMATION

CATALOG AND SALE DEADLINES
- The Kansas Beef Expo Spring Sale will mail out a full color print catalog to advertise the lots selling and offer advertising space.
This opportunity is offered to all consignments as part of the $50 Advertising Fee Due by Febuary 15, 2012.
- Cataloged Sale entries DUE February 15, 2012.

- Pedigree information & footnotes must be to sale manager by Feb. 15, 2012
Photos may be emailed to quint@kansasbeefexpo.com or accompany nomination form on disk or print.
- Cattle will be accepted for consignment after the Feb.15th deadline. All lots consigned after the Feb. 15th deadline will be
eligible for the sale but will not be cataloged. Standard $50 advertising fee will still apply.
FEMALE REQUIREMENTS
- All females are required to have an official health certificate from a veterinarian issued within 30 days of sale.
- Individual lots shall be a minimum of six months of age by sale day.
- Females selling safe in calf must have specific breeding dates and sire information.
MALE REQUIREMENTS
- All males are required to have an official health certificate from a veterinarian issued within 30 days of sale.
- Individual lots shall be a minimum of six months of age sale day.
- All Bulls must have a current satisfactory fertility certificate issued within 30 days of sale.
- All Bulls will be sold guaranteed breeders. All breeding guarantees will be between buyer and seller.
- All non virgin bulls along with all bulls over 12 months of age must be tested clean of Trichomoniasis.
REGISTRATION AND OWNERSHIP
- Consignor must own all entries at the time of sale.
- Copy of original registration paper must accompany nomination form for all registered cattle lots.
- Transfer of registration papers will be handled between buyer and seller on all registered cattle.
NOMINATION FEES & SALE COMMISSIONS
- All lots (female or male) will have an advertising fee of fifty dollars ($50) per lot. (Checks payable to the Kansas Beef Expo.)
- Advertising fee will be refunded back in the lots sale commission.
- All lots ran through sale ring are charged sale commission fee, no animal will be released from premises prior to sale fees paid.
- Sale commission fee is set at 8% of gross sale price per lot.
- Sale commission of the gross sale price will be deducted from consignor’s proceeds.
- In the event of a no saled lot or buy back by the seller, all charges and fees still apply and commission is charged on price
recorded by auctioneer and sale management.
SALE GUARANTEES AND PAYMENT
- All cattle are subject to final inspection upon arrival at the sale site.
- In the event of a sale animal failing to be a breeder or being returned to the seller for any reason whatsoever, neither sale
management, Kansas Beef Expo, nor auctioneer shall be responsible for the return of any commission or entry
fees earned at the time of the Sale.
- Sale management and the Kansas Beef Expo will mail complete accounting and net proceeds from this auction within 30 bank
working days from conclusion of the sale.
GENERAL SALE INFORMATION
- Sale order will be determined by sale management.
CATTLE DISPLAY AND STALLING
- Sale cattle will be displayed in the pens designated by the Kansas Beef Expo.
- Sale consignors may set up their display area in the sale pens starting Friday, March 23rd after 12 oclock noon.
- Stalling is on a first come first serve basis based upon breed.
- Sale cattle must be in the sale pen by Saturday, March 24th, 2011 by 9:00 AM
- Consignments may be haltered and or clipped but are not required to be either.
- All consignors are responsible for providing feed and water to their animals unless prior arrangements have been made with sale management.
- Consignors are responsible for providing bedding for their animals, straw is not permitted in the barn. Wood shavings will be provided for
sale at the sale facility.
